I bought two fresh tilapias from this supermarket and had them cleaned by the employee. Unfortunately, when I got home, I discovered that both fish were bad. The smell was so strong that it made me gag. The fish also had a yellowish appearance and clearly did not seem fresh. What was most disappointing was that the lady who cleaned the fish did not say anything or warn me that the fish appeared to be spoiled or not fresh. I trusted that I was purchasing fresh fish, especially since it was being cleaned for me at the store. This also makes me question how the seafood department is being inspected and how the supermarket is passing health inspections if spoiled fish is being sold to customers. Fresh seafood should be properly checked before it is put out for sale. I hope management takes this seriously and looks into the quality and freshness of their seafood. Customers should not have to get home and discover that the fish they just purchased is spoiled and has an unbearable smell.

I was very disappointed with my visit to 99 Ranch Market in Austin, Texas. I expected the store to have a much larger selection of international products, but there were not many items to choose from. The store itself felt very cramped, which made it difficult to shop comfortably. Before you visit, make sure to bring your own reusable bag because they charge 9 cents per bag. Interestingly, you can go to the bakery section and ask for a free bag, which makes the bag charge feel unnecessary. I was hoping to find a wider variety of Asian and international products, but compared to my experience at H Mart, this store had much less selection. The bakery section was also disappointing, as it was very empty and had very few pastries or items available to choose from. Overall, I expected more from 99 Ranch Market and left feeling underwhelmed. I hope they expand their product selection and improve the shopping experience in the future.

Omg! This place is crazy good! Pastries, seafood, dumplings, roasted duck and pork, and crazy beautiful produce! Definitely my favorite new market. I'm going 3x per wk for the Pastries 🍰

99 Ranch Market was a great experience overall. The store was fully stocked, clean, and had a huge selection of products. The produce section stood out the most, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, all looking well maintained and high quality. The seafood and meat selection was also impressive. The fish looked incredibly fresh, and they even had live seafood available, which is about as fresh as you can get. The bakery was another highlight with plenty of great items to choose from. I honestly wish we had a store like this closer to where we live. The only downside was the parking situation in the plaza. It gets very crowded on weekends, and the traffic can be a bit of a headache. Aside from that, it was an excellent shopping experience.
